We spend more than R60 billion a year with suppliers, and we want as much of that as possible to stay in South Africa — and specifically in the communities that host our operations.
Getting started
How to become a supplier

Register on the supplier portal
Submit your company registration, B-BBEE certificate, tax clearance and banking details through the Goldvista supplier portal.

Pre-qualification
We assess safety record, technical capability, financial standing and compliance with our Responsible Sourcing Standard.
- 03
Tender and award
Approved suppliers receive tender invitations relevant to their category. Awards are made on total value, not lowest price alone.
- 04
Onboarding and payment
Host-community and qualifying small suppliers are paid within 14 days; standard terms are 30 days from valid invoice.
Our standards
What we expect from suppliers
- Compliance with the Goldvista Responsible Sourcing Standard
- A demonstrable safety management system and incident record
- No child, forced or trafficked labour anywhere in the supply chain
- Valid B-BBEE verification and transparent ownership disclosure
- Environmental permits and evidence of waste and emissions management
- Zero tolerance for facilitation payments and conflicts of interest
Local procurement
Buying close to our operations
In 2025 we spent R4.9 billion with businesses based in our host municipalities — from catering and transport to specialist engineering. The Goldvista Ukhula Fund provides working-capital finance, mentorship and guaranteed offtake to small suppliers building capability in these towns.
